A Prayer for My Mother

A few summers ago I discovered that I was a writer. Through the Colorado Writing Project, I learned to give myself  the permission and freedom to write. In one form or another, my mom seemed to appear in much of my writing.

Since I am an actor and visual artist as well, I wanted to explore another medium where I could tryout different aspects of my work. I also wanted a way to honor my mom. I found the Denver workshop run by Center for Digital Storytelling to aid me in this process.
